The Take the Right Route campaign invites residents of Falkirk, Grangemouth, Bo'ness, Denny and Stenhousemuir to get active and earn rewards.
Taking part is easy, simply download the BetterPoints app.
For each walk, wheel, run, ride or public transport journey you make you can earn BetterPoints. These can be redeemed for vouchers (including District Towns Gift Cards, which are accepted at over 100 local businesses) or donated to charity.
There are also £500 worth of District Towns Gift Cards available as prizes for referring friends and taking part in challenges between now and 20th February 2022.
Taking part is easy!

Download the BetterPoints app from the App Store or Google Play.

Tap “Join Now” in the app and register with your usual email address along with your age and postcode.

You will then be eligible to join the Take the Right Route challenge. There will be a welcome email and a message about this on your timeline in the app, along with an invitation to take part in your first activity to earn some BetterPoints.

Start tracking your active and sustainable journeys using the app.
Remember to answer the Get Started survey by tapping the play button in the upper right-hand corner and answering a few short questions.
On this screen you can also turn on automatic tracking so you don't have to remember to press start and stop to earn rewards. We only share your anonymised and aggregated trip data with Falkirk Council for travel planning purposes and we never share it with anyone else.
